Prompt

Describe a scene only using sense

Sound:

Lying on the floor on my mat in my room, all is quiet, no sound. Yet beneath the silence there is my heart beat, steady and softly beating in my ears. What else do I hear when I really listen? A gentle whir of the ceiling fan above me, swooshing and spinning.

Just then the music in the app begins, with a sweet high flute on one note, then trilling between 2, creating a flutter, a shimmer. It takes me away to a place of rest and relaxation as I notice then a sweet gurgling watery flow beneath the flute. Perhaps a stream bubbling and splashing in a soothing rhythm?

I’m not in my body anymore. My thoughts have turned off and I’m all listening and experiencing a lightness, a high, just as I lie still. I hear harmonic interplays of flute and guitar and more mater and I’m enveloped in the sweetness of the sound vibrations.

My breathing lengthens and deepens. I hear the soft inhale and the whispering exhale. Inhale and exhale. That is enough.
